For decades, peacebuilding efforts in the region have focused mainly on crisis response and negative peace: simply the absence of active violence or immediate security threats.
PPF shifts this paradigm by building positive peace: the systemic attitudes, institutions and structures that create and sustain peaceful, resilient and thriving societies.
Lebanon faces unprecedented socio-economic challenges, institutional fragility and deep-seated community polarization. Piecemeal interventions and short-term humanitarian relief are no longer enough to secure long-term stability.
PPF bridges the gap between high-level policy research, practical civic education and direct grassroots conflict resolution. Together, they offer one evidence-based roadmap for national renewal.
